Styled Bridal Portraits || Columbus Botanical Gardens
Well I am finally back in my office, after what seems like a freaking month. I have been in and out for the last two weeks with traveling, unexpected heartbreak, visitors and of course, the plague hit me so hard.. So as you can imagine, I am SUPER pumped to be back to work this week.
About a month ago, my very sweet friend Kara Poindexter of KP Photo Company and I put together this lovely styled bridal session at Columbus Botanical Gardens with my favorite, DREAM TEAM of vendors (they're all listed below - and yes, they are that awesome). When we toured the Gardens a few weeks prior, I immediately fell in love with the venue. It is open and welcoming, while maintaining privacy from the busy road it sits on, with a dash of Southern vintage charm. I was completely enamored with the high back couches, patterned chairs, vintage floral art hanging on the walls, and of course: floor to ceiling windows in almost every room. Ladies, if you still need a wedding venue, I swear this is the place to go. Oh, and how silly of me to forget, the grounds. They have an old gin house that is enough to make any photographer drool with photo goals, azalea and rose bushes of every shade you can imagine, and they are in the process of building what will be an absolutely exquisite (and gigantic) rose trellis. I am telling you, it is the most under-rated venue in Columbus. Unfortunately it was raining really hard when we were there, and we couldn't go out on the grounds. Just another reason for you to go check it out for yourself!!
Huge thanks to my girl Kara, for inviting me to be apart of this dream she came up with! And an even bigger thanks to all of our AMAZING vendors. I say this all the time, but I really do feel so lucky to have a freaking awesome group of vendors who always pull out all the stops for me, they are always going above and beyond and they love to show off their beautiful craft. I would not have 90% of my images without y'all, and I am so thankful for each and every one of you!
