We’re getting close to Kristen & Josh’s wedding!
You guys!! In exactly one month, Kristen and Josh will be saying I DO and I literally can not wait. These two relaxed and fun people came into my life over a year ago - okay, Kristen and I actually met first, before she was engaged to Josh. One of the first things she said to me was: “I’m hiring you to do my wedding photos.. I’m not engaged yet, but as soon as Josh purposes to me, you are hired.” To me, this is the ultimate compliment, and it fills my heart up with happiness.
When Kristen and Josh did get engaged, hiring a wedding photographer was one of the first things to check off her wedding to-do list. We scheduled this AMAZING engagement session, and I was beyond excited when she said they both wanted to bring their bikes! I get so happy when couples want to incorporate pieces of themselves into their photos, because I feel like it makes them more unique. Almost anybody can stand in front of my camera and look adorable, but you look way freaking cool with a HARLEY DAVIDSON! Am I right?!
To be completely honest: at first, I was a little bit nervous.. When I googled “Harley Davidson Engagement Photos,” a few really scary things popped up, but I know that Kristen has a timeless and classic vibe going on, so I decided to channel my nerves into energy to try something new! Besides, adventurous couples are MY JAM and I obviously have to be brave when I have these bold couples!
Kristen is one of my Strive Sistas, so I knew she wouldn’t let me down, especially when she informed me that she had to get a picture of her triathlon bike too.
I absolutely adore how silly they are with each other. Kristen was full of laughter and smiles, while Josh did his very best to remain stoic and serious. They create such a perfect balance of each other.
Do you think you have what it takes to be an Emily Reedstrom Photography couple?
The criteria is easy: you need to be crazy in love, relaxed and unafraid to snuggle into your honey, and up for some imperfect, but beautiful adventures!

I am so excited for this wedding you guys. I know Kristen is going to look so beautiful in her dress (mainly because I got a sneak peek of her in the dress!) and I know Josh is going to be SO much fun, and I’m 99.99% positive he’s been perfecting his Jax Teller face in the mirror (okay, he doesn’t need to practice, because he is already perfect at it).
Thank you so much Kristen, for choosing me to capture your special day, I am so honored and grateful that you have put your trust in me, and I can’t WAIT to see you walk down that aisle.
